â€Â¢ Magnesium oxide, industrial grade, possess of excellent alkali resistance and electric insulation; and high in thermal expansion coefficient and heat conductivity, as well as better photo-permeability. White amorphous powder, odorless, smell-less and nontoxic.
â€Â¢ It is soluble in acid and ammonium salt solution, difficult to dissolve in water, and insoluble in alcohol.
â€Â¢ And can be changed into crystal by high-temperature burning above 1000 degree, and into dead-burned magnesium oxide or sintered magnesium oxide above 1500 degree.
â€Â¢ When meeting with carbon dioxide in the air, it shall produce basic magnesium carbonate.
