RFQ Details

I am very happy to see that you make bamboo velour baby diapers.

What is your price for 500 bamboo velour baby diapers?
How many layers of fabric are in each diaper? Do they come with an extra soaker/insert?
Can you (will you) put my own brand name tags on each diaper? I would like to purchase one of yours so that I can see/touch/feel it. :)

I have discovered that diapers made with mostly bamboo and just a little cotton, are not very durable. Bamboo fibers are short and need the stability of long-staple cotton in order to stand up to the many washings that diapers go through. Otherwise, the fabric sometimes gets holes in it after5-20 washes. Also, some polyester in the backing of the velour adds even more stability and strength. With only 5-10% of the total fabric being polyester, the diaper is still very absorbent, but also very strong.

Is it possible for you to find some fabric or have some made that is about 50% bamboo, 40% cotton, and 10% polyester (the poly goes in the backing for strength and durability.)?
I would like to find a sewing company that will make diapers with two layers of organic bamboo/cotton/poly velour, 50/40/10 (for extreme durability) turned and topstiched, with a two-layer soaker of bamboo velour sewn inside. I would like good quality elastic in the waist, front and back, and in the legs. In addition, I would like each diaper to come with an attached 3-layer soaker flap of bamboo velour sewn onto the very top front of the diaper. This will help the diaper be very absorbent, but still be able to dry quickly.

I would like the diapers to have side snap closures (KAM snaps, sz 20) and a snap-down rise that will grow with the baby. I can sew one and email you a picture of it, if that would help.

Eventually, I would like to figure out a way to produce diapers with the outer velour having a beautiful tie-die design in many colors. I can send you a picture of one of mine if that would help. I currently sew all of the diapers I sell, but I cannot sew fast enough for my customers. :) My customers really like the tie-dye designs I make. I dye all of my diaper velour myself.

Thank you.
