Requirement

As you know, India is an emerging market especially for Telecom Equipment, where very fast growth in Telecom Networks is taking place leading to a very large demand of VRLA Batteries of capacities 300 AH and above. We have decided to add VRLA batteries, for powering telecom equipments, to our package of supplies. Our immediate yearly requirement is estimated at 500,000 battery cells in phased supply.
We are looking for a reliable partner who can collaborate with us in this venture. The arrangement may be to import fully finished 2V Battery Cells of 300 AH, 400AH and 500 AH in bulk to be configured and assembled into Batteries of 24V / 48V of desired capacities for powering Telecom Equipment and supply to our customers as part of our package after these have been successfully evaluated to meet technical and qualitative requirements. Subsequently, with mutual acceptance and keeping in view expansion of the business into other sectors in addition to telecom, production line can be set up at our factory with technology transfer and payment of Royalty on the manufactured quantities.

The price has to be competitive simultaneously meeting qualitative requirement to enable an entry. I, therefore, request for an immediate response from your side indicating your best FOB prices for the said battery cells in various quantity lots, say up to 1000 Nos., 1000 to 5000 Nos and above 5000 Nos. Also, you may please give your reaction to the technology transfer and subsequent production at our factory for expanding your battery business in India not only in Telecom Sector but also in other areas.
