This machine is a kind of long-life table-moving boring miller developed for processing large heavy workpieces. Horizontal milling head is used to process workpieces and their peripheral planes as well as pentahedrons. It is applicable for large precision moulds, auto manufacturing, war industry, textile machinery, packing machinery and power machinery, etc.
Gantry-layout, enclosed frame structure, consisting of bed, double-column and beam. Biplane pressure suspension way adopted on the bed and work table. It has a function of automatic balancing of load weight. Its lifetime is five-ten times longer than conventional boring millers (linear way and hydrostatic way). While machining, the workpiece can be clamped on the work table by mighty electromagnetic chuck or clamp. After milling five surface of the workpiece, it can immediately bore hole without demounting the workpiece. Axial movement is under the control of high-resolution encoder with the rapid movement accuracy of 0.01 and can be fine adjusted for tool setting by electronic handwheel.
This machine tool is size-customizable. Numerical control system or PLC human machine interface control system are available. It is labor-efficient and high-efficient.
