RFQ Details

We are a small cottage based industry who make preserves - jams, chutneys ***** using 10lt pans on a stove - each 10lt pan can produce approx 3lt of preserve a batch due to rising boil & intense heat needed to reach setting point. We are now in the fortunate position that demand for our products has completely overwhelmed ability to supply and we are looking to purchase some type of equipment that will allow us to cook batches approx 20-30lt a time -ie- the vessel would need to be of around 100-150ltr size to allow for rapid boiling room-alternatively we would be just as happy with multiple units that cook 15lt quantities (ie vessel size would need to be approx 80-100ltr in size). The equipment must run on UK electicity v220-240, be self-heating (ie - have a built in protected heating element), variable temperature control with an ability to allow for the liquid preserve heat to go upto around 220 degrees F before the thermo cutout initiates, have a tap mechanism so that the jars can be filled directly from the cooking unit without having to use messy spoons/ladels and funnels. Although not essential, it would be very good if there was also some form of agitation or internal stirring mechanism.
