Extruder size: 63-65mm
Screw Design: Single Stage/mixer design, 4140 steel, chrome plated
Polymers Used: 3-melt LDPE 60%, 1-melt LLDPE 40%
Throughput Rate: 150 pph
Equipment Needed: Complete Extruder Assembly (Drive motor, Gear Reducer, Water Cooled Feed Section, Extruder Barrel w/heaters, Extruder drive and heat controls, Manual screen changer w/ head adapter
Extruder Drive: A/C, variable frequency
Extruder Cooling: Fan Cooled
Gearbox: Hardened helical gearing, thrust bearing sized for 80, 000 to 100, 000 hrs. (L-10 life), 15.9/1 ratio for 110 rpm max output speed when using 1750 rpm drive motor.
Extruder barrel: 4140 Steel barrel with bi-metallic liner, provided with 3ea. pre-drilled and machined pressure and melt thermocouple taps on the exit end of the barrel.
