The all-weather Gratia Planters (2001) combine natural and synthetic materials to create lightweight, sculptural forms that can be used both indoors and out. Carefully made by hand, each pot is constructed from a fiberglass shell with a natural metal finish applied over the top. They are then hand polished to achieve a rich, dimensional surface. Depending on the salt content in the air, the bronze pots will develop varying degrees of greenish blue patina over time; the black pots develop a white matte finish. For outdoor use, holes can be drilled on the bottom for drainage.
