RFQ Details

Indian white type poppy Seeds - Grade 1 , Extraneous Mass Matter percent - .50 max, Inorganic Extraneous mass .50 percent max, Damaged discolored seeds by mass percent .50 max, Moisture percent by Mass 11.0 percent max, Nonvolatile ether percent by mass on dry weight basis 50.0 minimum.

Poppy seeds shall:-
a) be the dried mature seeds of Papaver somniferum;
b) have uniform size, shape and colour;
c) be hard, clean, wholesome and free from moulds, weevils, obnoxious smell, discolorations, admixture of deleterious substances and other impurities except to the extent indicated in the schedule;
d) be in sound merchantable condition;
e) be free from rancidity, rodant contaminations, insect infestation, added colouring matter;
f) comply with the restrictions in regard to aflatoxin content, metallic contaminants and insecticide/ pesticide residues, poisonous metals, crop contaminants, naturally occurring toxic substances
