1. General
Subject of this RfQ is a meter connection washer (MCW) used to seal meter swivels to the diaphragm gas meters up to the size G6 when tightening the meter nut. The MCW is a flat seal / gasket made of the NBR aka Buna-N rubber, which is resistant to the action of the natural gas. The gasket has to serve reliably within the full range of the typical European continental climate in the Czech Republic (max. measured temperatures +40,4 °C and -42,2 °C).
2. Dimensional specification
Dimensions in mm 30x38x3
Inner diameter: 30±0,30 mm
Outer diameter: 38±0,35 mm
Thickness: 3±0,30 mm

3. Material specification
⢠rubber conform with EN 549 B2 H3 and EN 682 GBL (e.g. NBR (*6-85 IRHD) or better)
⢠resistance to the action of the n-pentanes
⢠long-term aging resistance
⢠material properties must be qualified according EN 549 with all the test protocol, the material sheet and the dimensional report submitted
4. Intended usage
Static sealing between two non-moving parts of a gaseous fuel system
5. Delivery
Batch order quantity will be 10.000 pcs
Full batch must be protected from damage during the transport and delivery
If your process allows automatic packaging please offer 100 pcs per one sealed plastic bag (exact quantity is a must)
If your standard packaging is bigger than 100 pcs please offer this cost saving option as well
Expected non-binding yearly volume is 350.000 pcs from 2021 until 2025
