Scrap steel wanted large quantities

Buyer Information

RFQ Details

We are looking for a reliable supplier who can supply at least 30, 000 tons a month. After a trial order of 10, 000 tons.

Competitive prices offered.

Product required is either Scrap Steel HMS 1&2 (80:20) or rail steel.

Payment is TT on arrival
Standby LC is supplied as payment guarantee. The terms are fixed.
Destination port is in South Korea

Additionally we require site inspection prior to opening LC.

Seller needs to issue us with absolute proof of existence and we could actually visit some of his suppliers scrap sites, then we would be more than happy to open up an ICPO and L/C. But not until we are actually standing in the yard can we do this.

The reason why we can't do anything until we verify a product is in existence is because our buyers have been tricked before and currently have USD $1, 5mln tied up in a bank L/C for a deal with no cargo!! So the family can't have that happen to them again. They need absolute proof of product before any transactions are made.
