Dear madam sir,
I am writing to you regarding a potential contract involving you supplying mass produced tents in the near future. I am currently a university student in the UK and my 3 of my friends plan to open a company renting tents to festivals and other events in the next 6 months
Here is a short summary of our business;

IntentsCity' is an innovative festival experience. We set up your tent at the festival. All you have to do is bring your bag! The tents will all be within the 'IntentsCity' area, which will provide a stewarded community, and after the festival is over, we remove the tent, saving you the hassle.

Our main criteria is that with the growing emphasis on global warming we need tents that are made from organic materials. For example, the rather than having a conventional canvas we were thinking that we would like the canvas and other components of the tent to be made from natural/ organic materials so it can be easily recycled. Also to clarify we are seeking an ordinary 2 person dome tent just modified using organic materials. Our main competition is a high street retailer Millets and they are offering a similar product that we want to sell however it retail priced at £79.99, which we want to dramatically undercut. Therefore we are looking for an initial purchase of 10,000 units in approximately 9months away, July period. However we need to clarify if for a start that you have the facilities and can meet the specifications- very similar to out competition.
If so
We need to know the following areas

1. Can our specification requirements be met?
2. Total cost of 10,000 units?
3. Individual unit cost- component break down costs, for example a list of all the components and their associated cost?
4. We need to fully understand the delivery lag for transportation. If we do form a partnership we need to be fully aware of how long each order will take, given a minimum order will be 10,000 units to the UK?
