Compared with the hollow glass, the vacuum has the follow advantage:
The thinnest thickness of hollow glass which is full of air or Argon is about 12mm, but the vacuum glass is 6mm.
The heat insulation of vacuum glass is 2 times than hollow glass. Just for this character, the vacuum would not frost and dew.
The sound insulation of vacuum is superior to the hollow glass
In the same condition, the vacuum glass can stand much stronger press from the wind.
