RFQ Details

Radar System with Digital Camera for registering and processing speeding offences should comply with the following
1. Mobile radar system for roadside monitoring, fixed on tripod stands
2. Display approaching and/or receding targets
3. Communication ports for printer, display sign, digital camera and/or computer
4. Capability to distinguish small and large vehicles preferred
5. Digital camera interfaced with speed measuring device
a. To automatically take pictures whenever threshold speeds are violated
b. With high resolution to identify vehicles and license plates
c. With a capacity to store thousands of images and easy viewing
d. To store violation data such as speed, date, time and location with the images
6. Processes and displays at least target vehicle speeding above the threshold and preset threshold speed (preferably separate speed thresholds for large and small vehicles to comply with item 4 above), and optionally total traffic counts and traffic counts above the preset speed thresholds.

Supplementary equipment and training material such as video films, on operation and calibration of the Radar system and calibration devices The quantity of these and other supplementary requirements that will guarantee the successful utilization of the equipment will be determined on the advice of the bidder. The bidder should include such advice in the bid document.
