2.03.01.0.090 Type CH-09 Facade ventilator vertical Convention Hotel
Decentralised facade ventilation unit with incorporated sound control, for vertical installation.
Non-fan-powered for supply air.


The unit consists of a casing which is internally lined with acoustic material. The external
casing between the front and rear extrusions is from flame retradant rigid board (material
rating B1). External face made of aluminium with weather protection and integrated insect
screen.


Unit width approx. 60 mm
Unit height room-high, approx. 2700 mm.
Unit depth approx. 300 mm, according to the requirements of the interior design.


Two interior control cylinder of 1200 mm each. Positions of cylinders according to the
requirements of the interior design.


The discharge characteristics can be altered by rotating the cylinder. In closed position,
brush seals prevent unwanted air flows.


The cylinder must be removable for cleaning and maintenance purposes.


The unit is connected to the neighbouring facade construction by using screws from inside
the rebate. Together with the facade frame it is self-supporting from the floor to the ceiling.
There is no fixation to the building shell.
The joints between the plastering and the unit as well as to top and bottom are sealed inside
and outside with pre-compressed sealing tapes.


Integrated insect screen:


Mesh opening small enough to keep out the Anopheles and Aedes gnats.
Minimum: 200 mesh per suqare inch.

Volume flow rate in total:

80 cbm/h at a pressure difference of 8 Pa
Volume flow rate per metre cylinder:
33, 3 cbm/h at a pressure difference of 8 Pa
Evaluated regulation noise-level difference
with open unit:
Dn, e, w not less than 42 dB per metre
Evaluated regulation noise-level difference
with closed unit:
Dn, e, w not less than 47 dB per metre


The sound reduction must be proved by an approval certificate according to ISO 140-10.

Surface/coating:

All visible parts, including plastic covers etc., must match the colour of the neighbouring
facade construction according to the additional technical specifications.

Decentralised facade ventilation unit with incorporated sound control, for vertical installation.
Non-fan-powered for supply air.


Product and type as offered for the vertical Type CH-09.


Unit length window-wide, approx. 1500 mm.
Unit depth approx. 250 mm, according to the thickness of the wall and the position of the
window.
The inner edge of the ventilator has to be flush to the surface of the wall, the exterior edge
flush to the window construction.


One interior control cylinder of 1200 mm, centered.


The unit is connected to the window frame below by using screws from inside the rebate.
Together with the window frame it is self-supporting from side to side.
There is no fixation to the building shell.
The joints between the plastering and the unit as well as to top and bottom are sealed inside
and outside with pre-compressed sealing tapes.


Technical requirements:


Volume flow rate in total:

approx. 50 cbm/h at a pressure difference of 8 Pa
Volume flow rate per metre cylinder:
